| To commemorate the battle in 2008 there were events for
the young in the morning and a long walk in the afternoon (below) The model was used so that young legs would not have to walk round the whole site. There was also a vat of woad - You can see some woad dripping after being dipped in the centre of the image. (more woad) The walk takes about 1 1/2 hours (depending on the number of questions/debate) - we are lucky that in Fulford the whole of the site is accessible on public paths.
